In September 2025, the exhibition “WASH in WAR” was presented at the Lviv Eco Forum — the largest environmental event in Ukraine.

The forum brought together over 300 participants, including representatives of state authorities, international partners, water utility managers, and experts in environmental sustainability.

The photo exhibition by Caritas Ukraine highlighted the devastating impact of war on water resources and the lives of people in frontline communities. It became an important part of the discussions, where participants could address the challenges of restoring water infrastructure and explore joint solutions.

Through the exhibition, participants were able to see real stories of affected people and discuss practical approaches to rebuilding water systems and ensuring sustainable access to safe water.

Representatives of Caritas Ukraine shared their experience in decentralized water supply and humanitarian response in frontline communities most affected by the war.

Special attention was given to international cooperation and joint efforts to overcome the ongoing water access crisis.
